As you shine on me

Streets would have been forsaken

Yet neither you, nor me

You kept far

Accompanying the stars

And I kept beholding you

As the star in my stars

To call into my cosmos 

An affair so promising

Where I created you

To keep myself a company


You kept shining on me

Subtle every inch

Deeper as it got

Though not an intended wit

And it kept trading something

Fairly inside me


Your glamor and your rumor

Have both got me swooning

A little brittle, yet mettle

I let the change digging in

The effect that you hold

No-one could possibly seize 

Filling myself with me

As you keep shining on me.

It was Maha Shivaratri, the sacred night that commemorates the divine union of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. A day celebrated enthusiastically throughout the country when devotees, early in the morning, bathe and visit Shiva temples to serve Shiva’s favorites and obtain his blessings. It was a quite sunny and cheerful Sunday morning on 15th February 2026. The same essence of festivity had enveloped our campus.
