I kept 'me' caged, In a prison, self-made For years I fail to track When did I actually Begin to place Those pieces I could never replace And then I reflected As I kept building the walls higher Thereby, my capacity To climb that higher The excuses I found And kept punishing myself for May or may not have been worthy To treat myself with such severe conduct But see, whom did I need?
