Rewriting The Truth Of Me

Once who craved colours and cheers Now is undertaking the grayscale hassle Once a darling of some hearts Is now building her own castle  Afeared of being alone She is dreaming in a dark forest All the deep, hidden fears Are disappearing at her behest Once celebrated as a lover of harmony Today is an underneath mayhem Beautifully built set of beliefs  Are stepping down her helm A bargain of herself To the one she’s supposed to be It’s me sitting again Rewriting the truth of me.                                                                           -VAISHALI   ~DENOTATION~ 1. In Divine's Treasure

A little abandoned by my conciousness  Half aware, half naive I appear at your care To relieve this raging wave This tiny unwitting conscience  A marionette of your will Make me sink or make me fly I'll be a slave of your scheme You see me clear, through None of it is hidden  You have answers to all my What, why, how and when You keep smiling and blessing As you inculcate in me The art of anticipating  And to let universe have the rein                                         - VAISHALI

Refined Sanctuary

The farther I tried to comprehend ‘Why the name, Panagarh?’, the only conclusion I could come to was that the word “Pana” means “Sharbat (a sweet, cold beverage)”. So, here is an illustration of my impression of this beautiful place and its beautiful meaning.         Panagarh is a quite suburb in the District Bardhman of West Bengal. It’s probably untraceable through the map, but those who’ve been its residents once would surely mark it in the centre of their hearts. While I was new at the station, I kept wondering what makes this place unusual from the other Air Force Stations, despite being a small one. Interestingly, all the things that I outlined about this place that makes it unusual, in my opinion, have been massive and varied. Most of which revolve around nature. It’s a place less touched by too many technologies. Thus, keeping it incredibly real and its real beauty incredibly visible to its admirers. Starting from the mornings, it’s a bit earlier than usu...

Polite Defiance

What am I? A force unstoppable Or a courage unsubduable Oh yes! Don’t you see How many times you made me fall And I kept collecting my pieces All in an empty hall And, here I stand again Yet, this time For my most triumphant fall Not to take a single criticism from anyone Nor to accept defeat until I’ve won This tiny contest of mine And thus my resolve                                                         - VAISHALI

Waffle o’clock

Wish I could wander places Become invisible with no traces  A query then seizes my mind  Is it the ultimate desire of my heart Or I’ve started to despise my being Disappearances are becoming real Not of someone but my soul I’m where I’m supposed to be  Says the horoscope so frequently  What’s mine will appear to me No early, not any later As precise, as it’s destined to be  Dear time, you’re but unaware My aspirations are sinking, at an unusual speed If you’re to delay any further  Change your mind, or I’d wait no longer Set aside the tranquil I could hold I’ll find a muse and grow more fonder I haven’t known how to stop Deceit’s not in mine blood If given a chance, I’d take my shot I apprise before you make it a plot                                                          - VAISHALI

See You Soon

I kept coming that way again  Everytime on a false pretense  Hoping I might bump into you Or atleast watch you pass thence From across the other side of road And if your glance fell on me I’d probably act unfamiliar And while you’ve walked a distance from me I’d turn around and scan you through  To take pride in admiring you. In actual fact If you ever crossed my road I would pretend,  I never hoped Like a flower awaiting sunshine I’d smile and wave at you I’d ask “How have you been!” And act surprised at your appearance  Then quietly I would place My charm inside of you So, it’s not just me But you are dreaming of me too.                                                     -VAISHALI

A Broken Aviary

Neatly furled my blanket up Uncovered not an inch Shh! Don’t say you saw me Hiding under the bench Slipping behind the walls Reached the door and fell escape If you pass through my cell Don’t stop for a glance Don’t search for my robe I kept it for a wash Don’t peep through that vent I went outside for a walk It’s my season, it’s my reign A sage made the forecast No gale, no ghost in the dark Could scare me, nor the overcast Ask the watchman near the post He manifested my way towards the forest And if you’re gutted of my act Scan the time on the dead clock It ticked for me, though haunted You can find my shoes missing from  the rack Ofcourse, I wore it before I left Pardon me please! I will soon be back It’s just the weather outside here I will return after a short trek                                             - VAISHALI ~DENOTATION ~ 1. Aviary : a large cage, building,...
