Half of me !

Some of me Drizzles away.. Wherever I go On people I meet and the things I change   Some of me I let it fade.. In turned pages Of the conflicts I faced to pave my way   Some of me Withers away.. In the olden days Of sorrow and despair   Some of me Turns into autumn.. And falls away Like horrors of my inner phantom   Half of me Is left with me.. Which I proudly claim And dissolve within                                                                        - VAISHALI

Fainted Thirst

Ambitions... I came to you Chasing consciously As the world says to   Deranged.. I became In pursuit of sovereignty To find my occasion, Fail and become mighty   Dumbfound.. I stood As it finally came to me To get a second bite at the cherry Hunting my fears will set me free   Prophesying.. As much as I did Farther, tougher and unfamiliar Finer than my prayers, indeed   Feisty.. As I got Bolder than my thoughts Sitting on a hamster wheel Unknown battles yet to be fought                                                                             - VAISHALI

The two of me

A journey reflects in the mirror And one mirrors outside Often enchanting, often cruel Significantly unique yet identical   One is an anticipated past Beside an unknown multiverse Plotted by the spirits So, I can write a verse   At times an agreed engagement Or a complete coincidence Both becomes a part of me Thence   Filled with flaws to the brim Beautifully carved, ruthless queen Either all’s in or all’s left out Nothing remains in between                                                                                                                         - VAISHALI

Daylight glory!

Since the day she said "Chalo tumhe gaon ghumate hain" And a journey started off On that unplanned evening Many such evenings came later And we kept exploring the village Talking, giggling and racing. And I started to learn How she perceives the world And how the world looks at her. A graceful young lady Beautiful inside out She'll be a guide, if you're stuck somewhere Knowing all your strengths and weaknesses She's a dedicated schoolteacher If you want to speak  to someone She'll be a patient friend She'll become a home away from home For all those missing their family frame. Wearing all her roles with poise She's a spot-on dutiful enchanter Building her own rules In her utopian tower. Forever cheerful, always chirping Showering everyone with greetings. With awe she looks around and With awe the world looks at her, She is a forever sunshine Shining everyday brighter. Happy Birth Anniversary to you Ma'am With all the love that you're spreading ...

In Divine's Treasure

A little abandoned by my conciousness  Half aware, half naive I appear at your care To relieve this raging wave This tiny unwitting conscience  A marionette of your will Make me sink or make me fly I'll be a slave of your scheme You see me clear, through None of it is hidden  You have answers to all my What, why, how and when You keep smiling and blessing As you inculcate in me The art of anticipating  And to let universe have the rein                                         - VAISHALI

Refined Sanctuary

The farther I tried to comprehend ‘Why the name, Panagarh?’, the only conclusion I could come to was that the word “Pana” means “Sharbat (a sweet, cold beverage)”. So, here is an illustration of my impression of this beautiful place and its beautiful meaning.         Panagarh is a quite suburb in the District Bardhman of West Bengal. It’s probably untraceable through the map, but those who’ve been its residents once would surely mark it in the centre of their hearts. While I was new at the station, I kept wondering what makes this place unusual from the other Air Force Stations, despite being a small one. Interestingly, all the things that I outlined about this place that makes it unusual, in my opinion, have been massive and varied. Most of which revolve around nature. It’s a place less touched by too many technologies. Thus, keeping it incredibly real and its real beauty incredibly visible to its admirers. Starting from the mornings, it’s a bit earlier than usu...
